In 1999, Women.com came to Shegeek to help them launch an e-commerce clothing boutique site. Knowing the importance of a unique sense of style, Shegeek came up with the idea of having an online fashion "retail therapist" that would help the user build the perfect wardrobe. The "Style Shrink" appeared throughout the boutique to offer insights and views about women and the latest trends. Shegeek brought in Cameron Tuttle, author of Bad Girls' Guide to the Open Road to give the site some attitude.
